What is the NDIS?

The NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) is the new government system of providing supports to Australians with disability, their families and carers.


What is the NDIA?

NDIA is the National Disability Insurance Agency. It is the part of the Government that is responsible for the NDIS roll-out and process.


What will it cover?

The NDIS is intended to cover supports. Examples include: workplace help to allow you to successfully get or complete employment.


Who can apply?

You can apply for the NDIS if you are under 65 years old, you have a permanent disability, are an Australian citizen (or permanent resident) and it is available in your area.
